Quiescence and Awakening (休止と目覚め, Kyūshi To Mezame) is the 22nd episode of the Parasyte -the maxim- (寄生獣 セイの格率,, Kiseijū Sei no Kakuritsu) anime series.
Overview[]
Shinichi and Migi come face to face with Gotou during a last ditch effort in killing him. After Migi's apparent death, Shinichi is forced to run away. He is then taken in by a kind old woman named Mitsuyo, and is able to recover and collect his thoughts while under her care. After the village he's resting in starts falling victim to Gotou's hunger, Shinichi heads out, deciding to face the monster one last time.
