Parasyte (寄生獣, Kiseijuu) is the 24th and final episode of the Parasyte -the maxim- (寄生獣 セイの格率,, Kiseijū Sei no Kakuritsu), anime series.

Overview

After the events that occurred at the City Hall, parasites from the world over began melding with human society, until incidents involving them became almost non-existent. Migi comes to Shinichi in a dream, and informs him that he'll be going to sleep for the indefinite future. One year later, while Shinichi and Murano are spending time together, the latter is taken hostage by Uragami. Making his way to the top of a building, Uragami begins questioning Shinichi on his humanity and of the worlds oblivion to who they truly are. When Uragami goes to throw Murano off the building, Shinichi is able to run over and incapacitate him and with help from Migi, he saves Murano. As they lay on the ground, Shinichi stares off into the sky, smiling.
