After raiding Saejin Church, Jun-kyung begins suspecting Kim Chul-min is hiding something - later tracking him down meeting with Su-in and Kang-woo.

Plot[]

A few months earlier, Choi Joon-Kyung and her husband had just finished doing some grocery shopping, when she realized that she didn't have the receipt. Her husband tries to tell her it’s okay and to just leave it, but she wants to have it in order to have their parking validated. Thus, she rushes back inside, and her husband stays by their car. As he is closing the back door to their car, a parasite is stuck to the hood of his car, and in a flash, it jumps on Choi Joon-Kyung’s husband. Not long after, someone rushes inside the store screaming that someone has been killed. Choi Joon-Kyung sees her husband walking in, but is a bit bloody. She calls him and goes to him, but her husband ignores her. Eventually he turns around, and opens his face, and one of the appendages of the parasite inside her husband’s body attacks her, thereby cutting one of her ears clean. As she is running for her life, she sees a young girl yelling for her mom. In a split second, she goes to the girl, and has both of them land on the floor. Effectively saving them from being killed. The young girl’s mom shows up and hugs her daughter while also thanking Choi Joon-Kyung as they rush out to safety. Later, she is able to trap the parasite in her husband’s body somewhere in the store, and locks the door to said makeshift prison.

In the present day, Choi Joon-Kyung wakes up from having experienced those painful memories once again, but does not cry.

Elsewhere, Seol Gang-Woo and Jung Su-In are hiding out in a dingy motel. He asks Su-In if the parasite, whom he jokingly refers to as Mr. Hyde is listening. Gang-Woo starts off by saying that the best option for them right now is to report the parasites to the police. He suggests telling the cops how the so-called Saejin Church is full of corpses, and due to the danger of the situation, they want to remain anonymous and not expose their identities. Realizing that Hyde sounds too terrifying of a name, Gang-Woo asks if Heidi would be a better name for the parasite living inside Su-In’s body. He mentions how he needs to do this for the sake of his older sister, and that he will never forgive them for killing his younger sister.

Later, Kim Chul-min receives an anonymous phone call from Seol Gang-Woo, who informs him about how there’s a place called Saejin Church deep in the mountains of Namcheon swarmed with real monsters. Gang-Woo continues by reporting how there are a lot of corpses being kept there. Before Kim Chul-min can ask anything else, Gang-Woo hangs up. Afterwards, Gang-Woo laughs and tells Su-In that he never thought he would be the kind of person who makes a police report.

At the police station, Kang Won-seok thinks they should tell Team Grey about the report that just came in. Chul-min is initially hesitant, but eventually goes to Joon-Kyung to make her aware of the situation at hand. But before he has a chance to, she begins to talk about Su-in. However, Chul-min points out that he checked Su-in’s hair to test and see if she was a parasite, but it was negative. Joon-Kyung points out that the two of them must be close then. Eventually, he is able to tell her about the anonymous tip concerning the parasite at the aforementioned Saejin Church. Joon-Kyung tells him that his hunch may come right after, and to get the team ready. Using a drone, the cops do some reconnaissance around the church’s perimeter. The team eventually moves into the warehouse and they discover multiple body parts. However the ones who move inside the church find nothing. Chul-min notices Su-in’s keys on the floor, which he quickly puts away, but not before Joon-Kyung sees the older man put something away. She asks him about it, but he lies and says they found nothing.

Back at headquarters, one of the Gray Team members goes on to say that the bodies they found were mutilated and cut into pieces. So it will take a while to confirm the number of victims and their identities. But they believe there's around 500 so far. Joon-Kyung and the others are eventually told that Kwon Hyuk-joo, a forty two year old man, is in charge of the church that was founded fifteen years earlier. However, a few weeks ago, his in-laws reported him missing.

Later, Kang Won-seok arrived at a building, and inside is the pastor and the rest of the parasites from the church. He tells the pastor that their new chapel looks wonderful. Apparently, it was thanks to Won-seok tipping them off that they were able to escape. He proceeds to tell the pastor that he is unsure who reported them since it was an anonymous call from a public pay phone. The parasite inside Seol Kyung-hee’s body remarks that it must have been the brother of her host. The pastor says that they must catch him then. The pastor further says until the Grey Team’s hunting dog is killed, their hideout is not safe. So they need to get rid of the so-called hunting dog first. Then, the pastor goes on to giveWon-seok a blade the other parasites crafter to resemble their tentacles as close as possible. The pastor admits that it will be difficult for them to approach and kill the Hunting Dog, so as a human working with the parasites, it is up to Won-seok to kill the Hunting Dog and give the parasites the upperhand.

Elsewhere, Gang-Woo is sifting through the various news channels, but to his annoyance none of them are reporting on a raid at Saejin Church. Su-in as a result, suggests that they could have handled it internally and that being the reason for a lack of news on the subject at hand. She then gets a call from the detective, but she is unsure if she should answer. He asks her if they can meet up briefly because he wants to talk to her. Su-in tells Gang-Woo that Chul-min is the only person she trusts at the moment, and meeting him is the only option they have at the moment. So with a bit of trepidation, Su-In tells the detective that can certainly meet up at Changseong theme park in thirty minutes. Without thinking twice, the detective agrees, but not before taking his gun with him as a precaution. Unbeknownst to him Joon-Kyung is keeping tabs on him, and needs help finding out where the detective is going.

At Changseong theme park, Su-in meets up with Chul-min and introduces him to Gang-Woo. He pulls her aside, and asks if she can show him the keychain he gave her. But Su-in states that she recently lost it. Sadly, he takes the keychain and hands it over to her. She asks where he found it, and he bluntly tells her it was at Saejin Church. He then asks her if she is in danger at the moment when he looks at Gang-Woo, but she tells him that it is not like that.

Joon-Kyung also arrives at the abandoned theme park with a gun in tow. Suddenly, Su-in experiences a high pitched sound which lets her know they are in danger. He tries to tell Chul-min to run, but instead he asks her if she really is Su-in. Gang-Woo reveals to Chul-min that it was him who tipped him about the church, but before anything else can be said, Su-in sees Joon-Kyung coming at her with a gun pointed directly at her. Gang-Woo also sees this and uses Chul-min to throw him at Joon-Kyung, and take the moment to make a run for it with Su-in.

Eventually the rest of the police force are dispatched to the abandoned theme park and Kang Won-seok uses the chaos as the perfect opportunity to kill Joon-Kyung’s hunting dog. Unbeknownst to him, Gang-Woo witnessed it all as he was making a run for it.

Meanwhile, Heidi does emerge for a bit, but is quickly surrounded by the Grey Team and due to the time limit, she eventually faints. Chul-min runs to Su-in and tries to get the other cops to call for an ambulance. They tell him that they have received orders to kill Su-in, but he is adamant that there has been a misunderstanding. That Su-in is a human

Elsewhere in the park, Joon-Kyung comes across the parasite that was once her husband’s body. She has the helmet come off, and when it releases, the face of the body that was once her husband has seemingly turned to stone. Despite knowing his husband was long she can’t hide that his death still hurts her. But she quickly steals herself, and goes in search of what she thinks is another parasite on the loose.

Eventually, Joon-Kyung comes across Su-in once more, and holding the bloodied helmet that she once used for her husband, she angrily puts it over Su-in’s head.
