The Strange One (変わりもの) is the 7th short story in the manga anthology Neo Parasyte M, written and illustrated by Takatoshi Kumakura.
Synopsis[]
A traveling parasite meets another parasite and his human wife and kids deep in the rural countryside. The two take a walk to have a conversation, discussing the mechanics and risks of jumping host bodies, and the rural parasite reveals he has multiple offspring living in the general area. He then asks the visitor to leave and never return.
