The Taste of Palm (掌の味) is a short story in the manga anthology Neo Parasyte F, written and illustrated by Hikaru Suruga. It is Case 12 in the volume.
Synopsis[]
A beautiful girl named Sumire Fuji is deeply traumatized by her parents' gory deaths, and is only capable of living day-to-day with the help of her classmate, Tamami. Despite this, there are rumors of Fuji being one of the monstrous Mouth-heads. Their school currently is rehearsing Romeo and Juliet, with Tamami performing as Juliet and another classmate, Matsui, playing the part of Romeo. The final day of rehearsal, Tamami is absent and Matsui goes to confront Fuji.
