Through Yura's Gate (由良の門を) is the 1st short story in the manga anthology Neo Parasyte M, written and illustrated by Moto Hagio.
Synopsis[]
Reiko Tamura's child is now a young girl adopted into a new life, but the memory of a mysterious voice accompanies her everywhere. Yura Kanda makes friends with a troublemaker of a boy who has his own troubled past, the two of them finding common ground in their missing parents. She learns of a Noh dance, the Jewel Dance, whose tale of a self-sacrificial mother resonates with her, and finds that the voice is quieted when she dances. Throughout the story, Yura wonders about the mother who never named her and the voice that has followed her all her life.
