Yui is an older grey-haired man. He was seen wearing business suits in the meeting about Shimada's autopsy.

He was excited at the prospect of getting a chance to dissect a parasite's corpse. He was also more than happy to oversee the meeting about parasites and discuss his findings, though he assumes the men there have more knowledge on related biology than they actually do.

Yui is first seen being contacted by phone from Police Chief Takizawa. He's informed about the current situation involving Hideo, and is excited at the prospect of having a sample to study and says he'll begin heading to their location.
